In old age, surely everyone wants to rest comfortably and enjoy lots of time for the family. But some people may feel the opposite. Not all elderly people can feel this because some often have to give up the welfare or peace of their old age to make ends meet.

The same is true of an old man named Supriyadi who is often called mbah Yadi. At the age of 67, he hopes to be able to enjoy his old age in peace and comfort, but he still have to work and work hard for his beloved family.

Mbah Yadi is an elderly person with disabilities, his left eye is damaged. However, his physical limitations did not make Mbah Yadi despair and gave up earning a living to support his family. Mbah Yadi lives with his wife who is also sick. Mbah Yadi takes good care of his wife, even if his wife feels sick, sometimes Mbah Yadi doesn't sell to take care of his wife. His love for his wife is so great that Mbah Yadi never feels burdened by anything.

Mbah Yadi sells ice cubes every day by driving around on his old bicycle. He has been doing this routine for several decades. With a mediocre income, sometimes even insufficient because he only works as a traveling ice cream seller, Mbah Yadi has to support his family members.

Mbah Yadi travels around the Sungailiat area using an old bicycle, to sell ice cubes around which may not get enough profit. Even so, mbah Yadi is always grateful for whatever he gets every day.

His steps were unwavering and steady even though he was so old with age. Going around he peddles the ice cubes he sells. From selling around, Mbah Yadi only made a profit of Rp. 500. If he sets the price too high, Mbah was afraid the customers would leave him.

He doesn't get much, most of all he gets money from his hard work of around 30,000-50,000/day, and even then it's not sometimes erratic. In fact, Mbah Yadi often does not eat because of a lack of money plus having to buy medicine for my wife who is sick and has to take medicine regularly every day

In uploading a tiktok video to the @izchydisini account, when I was going to be given more money, at first Mbah Yadi refused, but because he was forced, Mbah Yadi just took the money.

The story of Mbah Yadi's life then generates compassion and sympathy for those who watch it. Why not? at the appropriate age to rest at home, he must continue to work hard for the sake of his beloved family. With imperfect footsteps and a body that is no longer sturdy, this does not weaken Ms. Yadi's spirit in seeking sustenance.
