Being a top youtuber and singer is a dream for all of the people. KSI (Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji) is one of the best youtubers of all time. He was born on June 19th 1993 he is 29 years old now. KSI was born in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. His father, Jide Adamulla, came from Nigeria and is of Hausa and Fulani descent. His mother, Yinka Atinuke, is from Islington, London. Moreover, KSI has a younger brother, Deji Olatunji, is also a Youtuber and boxing fighter. KSI went to Berkhamsted School in Berkhamsted, from there he met his future collaborator and Sidemen member, Simon Minter. Sidemen is a British YouTube group consisting of English Influencers. KSI is one of the members and the co-founder of Sidemen. Before he created Sidemen with Simon, he was just a gamer Youtuber that registered his first account on YouTube using “Jide Junior” as his username in 2008 when he was on his early teens. Then, KSI registered his current account on July 24th 2009 using “KSIOlajideBT” as his username, where he made videos about gaming and also commentary videos of the FIFA video game series. He started creating YouTube videos in his bedroom at his parent’s house in Watford.

During his career, KSI dropped out of sixth from college to purse his career on YouTube once he earned steady monthly revenue from his uploads. According to an interview in 2014, KSI told that he earned around £1500 a month, both of his parents disapproved at first because they thought being YouTuber was a useless job until they saw KSI, but later became supportive and featured in a number of his videos. Later, KSI uploaded more some kind of vlog videos and played so many varieties of games and in 2012, his channel reached a million subscribers.

In 2013, KSI registered with Maker Studios’s sub-network, Polaris. KSI has been part of the British YouTube group known as the Sidemen. The group that creates videos on the internet, most often consisting of challenge videos, video-game commentary, also selling exclusive Sidemen merchandise. However, on August 4th 2017, KSI tweeted that he would be leaving the Sidemen, but in November, KSI made a video discussing whether his falling out with the Sidemen was real or fake, saying “the drama” was not entirely real nor fake. In a nutshell, KSI joined again with the Sidemen. KSI reached so many achievements or awards from some hard work the he did from year to year. In 2019, he was ranked second by The Sunday Times in its list of the top 100 UK influencers. In 2020, The Times named KSI to be Britain’s biggest influencer. In 2021, the Sidemen launched a subscription content known as Side+. The Sidemen also launched a restaurant called Sides and a vodka brand known as XIX Vodka.

During his life being a YouTuber, one of the top contents of his channel is “Try not to laugh challenge”. This content is always the most viewed on his YouTube channel but, not only YouTube, KSI also makes music and his music career was so spectacular. KSI had signed with Atlantic Records and Warner Music UK. On August 5th 2022, he released “Not Over Yet” featuring Tom Grennan. That song charted at number four on the UK Single Charts, and debuted at number one on The Official Big Top 40. KSI went on to win fights between Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda on August 27th .
